Transfer: 3 EPL clubs tried signing Mainoo as Arsenal receive offer for Trossard

Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo was a highly sought‑after player during the summer transfer window. Three English Premier League clubs—Everton, Aston Villa and Tottenham—expressed interest in signing him on a season‑long loan, according to the Daily Mail. Mainoo had reportedly requested a loan move away from Manchester United to gain more playing time this season, but the Red Devils refused to let him leave Old Trafford on a temporary basis despite the interest from other top‑tier clubs. In addition to the three Premier League sides, French club Marseille and Italian clubs Napoli and Roma also made enquiries about the England international.

In a separate development, Turkish Süper Lig side Beşiktaş has made an offer to sign Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard. The Belgian player is the subject of a €25 million bid from Beşiktaş, which still has its transfer window open. The move follows speculation that Trossard could depart Arsenal after the arrivals of Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke during the summer window. As reported by Sozcu Spor, Beşiktaş has reignited its interest in Trossard, indicating that the club is actively pursuing the player.

These situations highlight the intense competition for top talent in European football. Even though the transfer window has closed for many major leagues, clubs continue to seek ways to strengthen their squads. As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how these negotiations develop and whether additional players become involved in transfer talks.
