The Bauchi State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has directed all its aspirants to remove campaign posters and billboards from the streets of Bauchi metropolis. The directive, announced by the party’s Publicity Secretary Dayyabu Chiroma, is intended to create a clean and orderly environment ahead of the Bauchi Investment Summit, scheduled for October 8‑9, 2025.
The summit will host a delegation of local and international investors, government officials, and development partners. By presenting a tidy cityscape, the state aims to portray itself as a viable hub for economic growth and sustainable development. Organizers expect the two‑day event to attract fresh investments in key sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, and manufacturing, thereby strengthening Bauchi’s position as a competitive business destination.
The PDP praised its members and aspirants for their cooperation, noting that their support will contribute to the summit’s overall success. The removal of campaign materials is part of a broader effort to improve the city’s appearance and make a positive impression on visiting investors. As the summit approaches, the state is intensifying efforts to create a conducive environment for investors and stakeholders, reinforcing its reputation as a hub for economic growth.
