The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi State, Nigeria, successfully held its state congress on Saturday at the Safar Guest Inn in Birnin Kebbi. Supervised by Dr. Mukhtar Muhammad Lugga, Chairman of the Congress Committee, the event culminated in the election of 39 new executive members.
Alhaji Usman Bello Suru was elected the new state chairman, marking a significant shift in the party’s leadership. The newly elected officials include Alhaji Hussaini Abdullahi Raha as Vice Chairman, Abubakar Bawa Kalgo as Secretary, and Alhaji Malami Dannyaro Gwansu as Treasurer. Additional key positions filled are Financial Secretary, Legal Adviser, Auditor, Publicity Secretary, Organizing Secretary, Women Leader, and Youth Leader.
