The Kaduna State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Felix Hassan Hyat, has called on members of the Labour Party (LP) to form an alliance aimed at rescuing the state from the challenges it has faced under the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the past eight years. Hyat made this appeal to journalists in Kaduna, emphasizing the need for collaboration among opposition parties to improve the state’s situation.

In addition to his call for unity, Hyat expressed his disappointment with the process and outcome of the recent presidential election, stating that it fell short of the expectations of both Nigerians and the PDP. Despite this, he expressed gratitude for the support shown to their candidates and party throughout the state. He noted that the election results indicated a clear rejection of the APC by the residents of Kaduna, who have now decided to back the PDP.

Hyat concluded by urging the citizens of Kaduna to lend their support to the PDP in the upcoming governorship election scheduled for March 11. He believes that with collective effort, the party can bring about the necessary changes for the betterment of the state.
