Benue ADC Committee Backs Chairman Tsegba

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Benue State has expressed its confidence in the leadership of its protem chairman, Rt. Hon. Terngu Tsegba. This endorsement was made through a communiqué issued after a meeting of the State Steering Committee held at Naivasha Villas in Abuja.

According to the communiqué signed by Gabriel T. Nyitse, the committee acknowledged the tireless efforts of Hon. Tsegba and his team in disseminating the party’s message across Benue State. The committee also commended the dedication of local government and ward officials, whose mobilization efforts resulted in significant turnouts during the party’s unveiling in the state.

The ADC Benue State Steering Committee further appreciated the support of prominent figures, including former Senate President, Sen. David Mark, who serves as the National Chairman, and Senator Gabriel Suswam. Their contributions were recognized as instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for the party in Benue.

In its statement, the committee emphasized the importance of unity among party members, cautioning that distrust and indiscipline could undermine the growth and development of the ADC. The committee encouraged members to work together to advance the party’s objectives.

The media’s role in publicizing ADC activities was also acknowledged, with the committee urging journalists to continue their support for the party’s growth in Benue State and across Nigeria. By recognizing the importance of a free and independent press, the ADC aims to increase its visibility and engage with a broader audience.

The vote of confidence in Hon. Tsegba’s leadership and the recognition of the party’s progress in Benue State underscore the ADC’s commitment to democratic principles and its aspirations for political relevance in Nigeria. As the party continues to expand its presence, it is likely to face new challenges and opportunities, making its ability to adapt and unify crucial for its future success.
