APC National Chairman arrives Kebbi ahead of PGF meeting

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda, arrived in Kebbi State accompanied by Ahmad Faruk, Managing Director of the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency. They were received at Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport in Birnin Kebbi by the APC Kebbi State Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Muhammad Kana.

Their visit precedes two major events: the Progressive Governors Forum meeting and the official commissioning of the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu Movement for Continuity State Secretariat, which is being led by Engr. Ahmad Faruk. The two‑day forum will be held at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi and will bring together governors elected on the APC platform.

According to Ahmed Idris, Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, the forum’s chairman will brief the media on the outcomes after the meeting. The Progressive Governors Forum plays a significant role in shaping party policies and addressing national concerns, providing an opportunity for governors to discuss pressing issues affecting both the country and the party.

The commissioning of the Tinubu Kauran Gwandu Movement for Continuity State Secretariat is also seen as a strategic move to bolster the party’s presence in the state. The presence of the National Chairman and other notable party members underscores the importance of the meeting and the party’s commitment to addressing both national and party‑related issues.

As the forum commences, attention will focus on the outcomes and the subsequent briefing by the forum’s chairman. The discussions and decisions made are expected to have a significant impact on the party’s trajectory and the country’s political landscape. With the meeting set to conclude soon, supporters and the general public await the announced outcomes and future directions.
