APC Aims to Expand to 30 States by 2027

The Director General of the Progressive Governors Forum, Folorunso Aluko, has indicated that the All Progressives Congress, APC, is expecting to gain six more state governors by 2027. This announcement was made during the PGF Quarterly Strategy meeting of Information Commissioners from APC-led states, held in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Thursday.

According to Aluko, the APC is well-positioned to achieve its goals and strengthen its strategic posture. He expressed confidence that the PGF will expand its presence from the current 24 states to at least 30 states by 2027. Aluko emphasized the importance of aligning state actions with the federal government’s vision, promoting unity and integrity, and serving with renewed hope in the country’s nation-building efforts.

Aluko stated, “By the grace of God and the will of Nigerians, we are confident that the PGF will rise from today’s 24 states to at least 30 states before the end of 2027.” He added that the party is strengthening its strategic posture and ensuring that every message has a measurable impact. Aluko’s conviction is that the APC will continue to grow stronger as the country approaches 2027.

The Progressive Governors Forum plays a crucial role in promoting the APC’s agenda and supporting its governors in their respective states. With the party’s focus on expanding its presence and strengthening its strategic posture, it is likely that the APC will continue to be a major player in Nigerian politics.

As the country moves towards 2027, the APC’s growth and expansion plans are expected to have significant implications for the country’s political landscape. With the party’s emphasis on unity, integrity, and nation-building, it remains to be seen how these efforts will impact the country’s development and progress. The PGF’s quarterly strategy meetings, such as the one held in Maiduguri, serve as a platform for the party’s stakeholders to discuss and refine their strategies, ensuring that the APC remains a dominant force in Nigerian politics.
