Sahara Group expands retail footprint with new Lekki fuel station

Asharami Synergy, a subsidiary of Sahara Group, has expanded its retail presence with the launch of a new fuel station in Lekki, Lagos. The station is equipped with cutting-edge forecourt technology, enabling remote-controlled, real-time inventory management and ensuring accurate meter readings for both the company and its customers.

Located in a strategic area, the station aims to cater to the fueling needs of residents and businesses in Lekki and its surrounding areas. In addition to fuel sales, the station offers a range of ancillary services, including vehicle repair and maintenance, car wash, lube station, and an on-site restaurant.

According to Moroti Adedoyin-Adeyinka, Executive Director of Sahara Group, the new station embodies the company’s commitment to excellence and distinction in its operations across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. “We wanted a retail station that reflects our brand philosophy of ensuring excellence and distinction,” Adedoyin-Adeyinka stated. “Every Asharami station we open must stand out, not just as a place to buy fuel, but as a symbol of our brand promise: quality and premium experience.”

The project is seen as a testament to the company’s perseverance, innovation, and collaboration. Foluso Sobanjo, Head of Downstream Africa at Sahara Group, described the achievement as “a celebration of collective sacrifice and commitment.” The company operates several retail stations across Africa, including in Ghana and Zambia, as part of its efforts to expand access to quality fueling solutions.

The Lekki station features a highly sophisticated forecourt controller, which serves as a single point of control for multiple devices and interfaces. The system supports over 100 communication protocols and has an integrated power supply, CPU board, and interface modules.

With the launch of the new station, Asharami Synergy reinforces its dedication to providing high-quality fueling solutions and exceptional customer experience. According to Nomnso Dike, CEO of Asharami Synergy, the company is committed to sustaining its legacy of quality and innovation. “When you choose Asharami, you’re choosing reliability, innovation, and quality fuel every time,” Dike said. The new station is expected to enhance the company’s retail footprint and contribute to the growth of the downstream sector in Nigeria.
