PETAPETA School of Nightmares, a horror‑themed escape game, has introduced two limited quests as part of its Halloween Spotlight event. By completing these quests, players can earn a Rune and a Key, which can be used to obtain user‑generated content in the event hub.

The first quest tasks players with collecting 20 pumpkins scattered throughout the abandoned school. These small pumpkins can be found on the floor, tables, and shelves across multiple levels. Players may join a party of four to avoid being the sole target of the monster, and the number of pumpkins collected is displayed in the top‑right corner of the screen.

After finishing the pumpkin quest, the second quest becomes available. It requires players to complete all three levels of the game on any difficulty. Each level features unique mechanics—such as breaking windows to access rooms and using portals to move around the school. To earn the Key, players must unlock all three doors across the three levels. Key locations are randomized, and items like bats are needed to break windows and reach previously inaccessible areas.

Survival strategies include running away, hiding in lockers, using earphones for auditory warnings, and equipping items that provide temporary boosts. The Halloween Spotlight event offers a challenging and thrilling experience, rewarding players who complete the limited quests with valuable items that enhance gameplay. With its distinctive mechanics and horror theme, PETAPETA School of Nightmares is a must‑try for fans of escape games and the horror genre.
