The National President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, has disclosed that he spent over N756 million to support President Bola Tinubu’s campaign in 2023. According to MC Oluomo, the funds were drawn from his personal resources, with no financial assistance received from Abuja during the campaign period.

In a video circulating on social media, MC Oluomo outlined the expenses incurred, which included hotel accommodations, logistics, and daily expenses for Nollywood actors, actresses, and other individuals involved in the campaign. He revealed that 140 hotel rooms were booked at a rate of N45,000 per night for four months, in addition to providing daily stipends for campaign workers.

MC Oluomo, a long-time ally of President Tinubu, emphasized his commitment to the president’s reelection bid ahead of 2027. He expressed his readiness to contribute further to ensure President Tinubu’s victory, stating, “We’re not resting. 2027 is around the corner, and we’re already working to make sure Asiwaju wins again.”

The significant financial investment made by MC Oluomo underscores his strong support for President Tinubu.
