Obi Peter, Atiku, Tinubu cheated through INEC – SDP candidate Adewole alleges

Prince Adebayo Adewole, the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, has alleged that the Labour Party, LP, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and All Progressives Congress, APC, received their piece of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s cheating during the 25th February poll.

Adewole disclosed this during an Arise Television interview monitored by Media Talk Africa on Friday.

The presidential election might have come and gone, but mixed reactions continue to trail the victory of President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The SDP candidate alleged that LP’s Peter Obi, PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and Tinubu of APC cheated during the presidential election.

He accused INEC of aiding cheating which affects its credibility and then called on the President-elect to reach out to the aggrieved contestants.

“PDP, LP got their piece of INEC’s cheating. My agents were telling me how they were changing results. In Imo, Abia, Anambra and others, it was all cheating for the Labour Party. Same with PDP in the northern states. APC has the universal license to cheat. That is what they all did because vote-buying is cheating.

“Where the person who cheated in the East claims to be cheated in another part, those who cheated in the North blamed another who did the same. Some of the persons who cheated and were not successful are blaming the person who cheated and is successful,” Adewole stated.

He also flayed INEC calling it “a crime syndicate demanding dollars to make politicians winners.” INEC, he alleged, has highly dishonest staff.

Adewole said further: “Those who are claiming foul play should be honest. PDP and LP cannot claim they won the same election. Now you are blaming INEC; in a year, they will blame the judiciary because they have raised the hopes of their supporters. The BVAS (the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System) is in the hands of the political armed robbers.”

INEC declared Tinubu the winner of the 2023 presidential election.
