The people of Isuofia community in Anambra State’s Aguata Local Government Area have pledged their support for the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, donating N200 million to his campaign. This gesture was made during a grand reception held in Soludo’s honor, as he returned to his hometown ahead of the November 8 governorship election.
According to Mr. Fidelis Okafor, President-General of the Isuofia People’s Movement, the community’s donation is aimed at ensuring a decisive victory for Soludo at the polls. Okafor praised Soludo’s accessibility and commitment to grassroots governance, which he believes has transformed the state and brought pride to the community.
Community leaders, including Ifeanyi Ifemelu and Chief Evarist Ubah, also expressed their support for Soludo’s re-election, citing the positive impact of his policies on the state. In response, Soludo thanked his kinsmen for their overwhelming support and encouraged them to come out en masse to vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) on election day.
