The people of Isuofia community in Anambra State’s Aguata Local Government Area have pledged their support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s re‑election by donating N200 million to his campaign. The donation was presented at a grand reception held in Soludo’s honor as he returned to his hometown ahead of the November 8 governorship election.

Mr. Fidelis Okafor, President‑General of the Isuofia People’s Movement, said the community’s contribution is intended to secure a decisive victory for Soludo at the polls. He praised Soludo’s accessibility and commitment to grassroots governance, which he believes has transformed the state and brought pride to the community.

Community leaders, including Ifeanyi Ifemelu and Chief Evarist Ubah, also voiced their support for Soludo’s re‑election, citing the positive impact of his policies on the state. They stressed the need to sustain the progress made so far and urged voters to give Soludo another mandate to continue his transformation agenda.

In response, Soludo thanked his kinsmen for their overwhelming support and encouraged them to turn out in large numbers to vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) on election day. While noting that his party is regarded as the consensus candidate, Soludo stressed that the people’s votes are crucial to determining the outcome.
