Labour Party’s Moghalu Loses Polling Unit to APGA

In a surprising turn of events, Labour Party governorship candidate George Moghalu suffered a defeat in his own polling unit during the Anambra state election. Incumbent governor Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) secured more votes than Moghalu in his polling unit.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) also gained an upper hand at the polling station of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate. At Obi’s polling unit, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the APC garnered 73 votes, outpacing George Moghalu of the Labour Party, who secured 57 votes. APGA came in third with 38 votes.

In Moghalu’s polling unit, the results showed a significant margin of victory for APGA. The Labour Party candidate managed to secure only 22 votes, while APGA garnered 57 votes. The APC trailed behind with 5 votes.
