NYSC extends 2025 Batch ‘C’ registration till midnight of November 11 — Daily Nigerian

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the registration period for the 2025 Batch C prospective corps members (PCMs) until 11 November. The decision, announced by Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations, aims to accommodate PCMs who have encountered difficulties completing their registration.

The original deadline was postponed because many applicants faced network problems that prolonged the registration process. Embu apologized for the inconvenience and assured that NYSC management is working to resolve the technical issues and provide a smoother experience for all PCMs.

Registration is a crucial step for young Nigerians required to serve in the national service program after completing tertiary education. The program seeks to promote national unity, discipline, and self‑reliance among the country’s youth. By extending the deadline, NYSC hopes to relieve those struggling to finish their registration on time.

Prospective corps members are urged to use the extended period to finalize their applications, double‑check all details, and submit before the new deadline. NYSC encourages patience and persistence, emphasizing that the organization is addressing technical challenges to ensure every PCM can register successfully.
