The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch “C” Orientation Course will begin on November 19, 2025, with camps opening across the country. According to a statement from Director of Information and Public Relations Caroline Embu, registration for corps members will take place from November 19 to November 21, followed by the swearing‑in ceremony on November 21. The orientation will conclude with a closing ceremony on December 9, 2025.
Director‑General Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu wishes prospective corps members safe travel to their assigned camps and advises against night journeys, emphasizing the importance of safety during transit. The orientation course is a vital part of the NYSC program, designed to prepare young graduates for a year of national service. It offers participants training, skill acquisition, and opportunities to foster national unity and integration.
