Niger State Governor Submits Nominees for Commissioner Positions

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has submitted a list of 30 proposed commissioners to the State House of Assembly for review and approval, in accordance with the Constitution. The nominations were made in line with Section 192(2) of the 1999 Constitution, as amended, and were announced in a press release by the Secretary to the Niger State Government, Alhaji Abubakar Usman.

According to Governor Bago, the nominations followed thorough consultations and were based on the nominees’ track records of integrity, competence, and dedication to the development of Niger State.
