Rockstar Games has officially announced the upcoming DLC, GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills, which will introduce mansions to the city of Los Santos in the popular game Grand Theft Auto Online. Although the official announcement was made in November, reputable dataminers had already confirmed the existence of mansions in June.
The first leaks emerged after the release of the Money Fronts DLC in June 2025, when dataminers began analyzing the game’s code. Notable dataminer Floorball__ discovered the name of the in-game company “Prix Luxury Real Estate” and revealed that the game would offer an exclusive discount on an upcoming mansion. Another dataminer, Lucas7yoshi, found information about three prologue missions, known as New Listings, which will serve as a teaser for the mansions. The missions feature voice lines from Raf, confirming the arrival of mansions in Los Santos.
In July, more information about the mansions was leaked, including the possibility of party hosting features, such as arcade cabinets, similar to those found in Casino Master Penthouses. In November, Rockstar released the three New Listings missions and shared a picture of a mansion, which hinted at the presence of a personal helipad and fully visible interiors from the outside.
The official 16-second teaser for GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills confirmed that the mansions will feature two swimming pools, a sliding door, and other amenities. Although the exact number of mansions to be released is not confirmed, translations of Rockstar’s newswire suggest that there will be three mansions in the DLC. The release date for GTA Online: A Safehouse in the Hills is set for December 9, 2025, following the conclusion of the New Listings missions on December 7, 2025.
