Musician, Mr Real raises alarm over dream of bandits storming Lagos clubs, offices

Nigerian musician Mr Real has voiced concern over the country’s escalating security threats. In a social‑media post, he described a disturbing dream in which armed bandits entered Lagos, abducting people from nightclubs and office buildings. He noted that many of his past dreams have come true—about 70 % of them, in his view—and clarified that his aim was not to spread fear but to raise awareness of the current security situation.

His warning coincides with alerts from Gani Adams, the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, who recently told the public that armed groups have infiltrated several communities in the South‑West and are planning coordinated attacks. According to Adams, the groups are targeting states such as Oyo, Ekiti, Ondo and Lagos.

The security situation in Nigeria remains a pressing issue, with various regions facing threats from armed factions. Mr Real’s dream and Adams’s warning have underscored the need for vigilance among residents. The musician urged people to stay alert, emphasizing that awareness is crucial for preventing potential attacks.

While the Nigerian government is working to address these challenges, the situation continues to be a cause for concern. The recent warnings from Mr Real and Adams serve as a reminder of the necessity for ongoing efforts to ensure public safety. As security dynamics evolve, residents—especially in the South‑West, where threats have intensified—must stay informed, take necessary precautions, and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
