Kano APC Stakeholders Endorse Tinubu for 2027 Presidency

Osun PDP, Gov Adeleke endorse Tinubu for 2027

In a move to solidify support for the 2027 presidential election, stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kano state have endorsed President Tinubu as the party’s candidate. The endorsement was made by stakeholders from the 484 wards and 44 local governments of the state.

According to former APC National Chairman, Umar Ganduje, the stakeholders met to discuss unity and solidarity within the party and the federal government under President Tinubu. Over the course of three days, they met with local government chairmen and other party leaders to emphasize the importance of commitment to the President’s Renewed Hopes Agenda.

Ganduje expressed confidence that the party will emerge victorious in all elections in Kano state and the entire northern region, as well as Nigeria as a whole, come 2027. He emphasized the need for party offices to be physically accessible and functional to facilitate the registration of new members from other parties.

The stakeholders also discussed the issue of electronic registration into the party, revealing that computers have been acquired to commence the process. Ganduje noted that Kano state has a history of producing a high number of registered party members, which they aim to sustain.

In a bid to promote unity and solidarity, the party executives at all levels have been directed to declare President Tinubu as the APC’s candidate for the 2027 election. This move is seen as a strategic step towards ensuring the party’s success in the upcoming elections.

The endorsement and discussions come as the country prepares for the 2027 general elections. With the APC aiming to maintain its stronghold in Kano state and the northern region, the stakeholders’ support for President Tinubu is expected to play a significant role in the party’s campaign strategy. As the political landscape continues to evolve, the APC’s efforts to promote unity and solidarity within the party are likely to be closely watched by political observers and analysts.
