Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known as Kcee, has attributed his consistency in the music industry to his relentless work ethic. The singer, who rose to fame with his hit song “Limpopo,” explained that he releases more songs when faced with challenges, increasing his chances of scoring a hit.

In a recent interview on the Selah Meditate podcast, Kcee stated that some of his colleagues often get discouraged when their songs do not perform well, whereas he adopts a different approach. “I can drop 22 songs, and maybe the 25th one will become a hit. I don’t care because consistency is key,” he said.

Kcee has experienced his fair share of difficulties in the music industry, but his public persona has always exuded confidence and flamboyance. He credited positive manifestation for his success, recalling how he and his brother, E-Money, would imagine themselves living in a better neighborhood while they were still residing in Ajegunle. “We were not lying or pretending, we were dreaming, prophesying into the future,” he explained.

This mindset, according to Kcee, ultimately led to their relocation to Ikeja, where they established themselves as prominent figures in the entertainment industry. Kcee’s strategy of releasing multiple songs to increase his chances of success has contributed to his enduring presence in the music industry. His approach serves as a testament to the importance of perseverance and hard work in achieving success.

With a career spanning several years, he has managed to maintain a strong fan base and remain relevant in the competitive music scene. Kcee’s story offers valuable insights into the importance of resilience and innovative thinking in overcoming challenges and achieving success in the entertainment industry.
