AFCON 2025: Super Eagles Squad Released

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have announced their provisional squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON. Coach Eric Chelle released the list on the team’s official X account, revealing a strong lineup of players.

The squad includes notable forwards such as Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, and Tolu Arokodare, who are expected to lead the team’s attack. In the midfield, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, and Frank Onyeka will provide support. Goalkeepers Maduka Okoye and Stanley Nwabali have also been included in the list.

The midfielders are Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Alhassan Yusuf, Wilfred Ndidi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Raphael Onyedika, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Tochukwu Nnadi, Usman Muhammed, Peter Agba, Tom Dele-Bashiru, and Christantus Uche. The forwards are Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, Victor Boniface, Cyriel Dessers, Sadiq Umar, Nathan Tella, Tolu Arokodare, Chidera Ejuke, Olakunle Olusegun, Kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, Paul Onuachu, Abdulrasshed Shehu, Rafiu Durosinmi, Ekeson Okorie, Chisom Orji, Philip Otele, Salim Fago, Ikwuemesi Chukwubuikem, and Adams Akor.
