TwitchCon, the annual convention for Twitch creators and streamers, will take place from October 17‑19 in San Diego, California. Launched in 2015, the event brings together industry professionals, influencers, and audiences for panels, performances, and meet‑and‑greets.
This year’s lineup includes hundreds of streamers such as bbno$, Ludwig and emiru. Attendees can purchase a three‑day ticket for $249 or buy individual day tickets ranging from $159 to $169. The program features a TwitchCon Block Party, a Family Bundle, and 15 distinct sections covering topics like chat moderation, storytelling and partnerships.
TwitchCon has been a popular gathering for the past decade, offering a venue to discuss the latest trends and best practices in streaming. However, the convention has faced controversy, including safety issues and harassment. In 2024, the event was marred by harassment after Kick streamers crashed the convention, and in 2022 a streamer suffered a back injury after jumping into a foam pit. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has emphasized that the company takes security and safety at its events extremely seriously and has implemented measures to address these concerns.
Despite these challenges, TwitchCon remains a significant event on the streaming calendar, providing creators and fans a unique opportunity to connect and share ideas. For those unable to attend in person, updates and coverage will be available on TwitchCon’s social media accounts and through media outlets such as Mashable. While the convention’s panels and programs will not be livestreamed, attendees can expect a range of engaging activities and discussions on the expo floor.
As the streaming industry continues to evolve, events like TwitchCon play an important role in shaping the future of online content creation and community engagement. With its diverse programs and activities, TwitchCon 2025 is set to be an exciting and informative milestone for attendees and the broader streaming community.
