Sony has unveiled its largest television yet in India, the Bravia 9 II 115‑inch True RGB TV, which hit the market on a Monday. The new model joins the existing 75‑inch Bravia 9 II variants and marks the company’s biggest screen to date. Alongside the flagship, Sony has also added a 98‑inch option to its Bravia 7 II lineup.
The 115‑inch Bravia 9 II is priced at ₹45,99,900 at retail, but a Best Buy price of ₹28,99,990 is available through Sony Centres, Sony Exclusive stores, ShopatSC.com, leading electronics retailers and e‑commerce platforms. The 98‑inch Bravia 7 II is offered at a Best Buy price of ₹8,71,990.
At the heart of the 115‑inch screen is Sony’s proprietary RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro technology, which independently controls red, green and blue LEDs to deliver the widest colour volume in the brand’s portfolio. The unit is paired with the BRAVIA XR Processor, which enhances colour accuracy, contrast, brightness and overall picture realism. The entire Bravia 9 II range supports HDR10, HLG, IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision. For gamers, the TV offers Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode, with support for PlayStation 5. Existing technologies such as X‑Wide Angle Pro, Luminance Booster Pro and Smooth Colour Gradation are also present.
Audio performance is handled by an Acoustic Multi‑Audio+ system that houses 12 speakers, including two subwoofers, eight full‑range drivers and two tweeters. The television runs on the Google TV interface, and Sony has confirmed that Gemini for Google TV will arrive via a future over‑the‑air update, enabling AI‑powered voice interactions on the Bravia 9 II and other compatible models.
Connectivity options include Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, four HDMI ports, two USB ports, an Ethernet port and RF and satellite inputs, ensuring a comprehensive set of inputs for a variety of media sources.
Sony’s launch of the 115‑inch Bravia 9 II underscores the company’s push into the premium large‑screen market, offering a combination of advanced colour science, high‑end processing and a robust audio system. The availability of the 98‑inch Bravia 7 II provides a middle ground for consumers seeking a large display without the flagship price tag. As the Indian market continues to grow in demand for high‑definition home entertainment, Sony’s new offerings position the brand to capture a significant share of the premium television segment.
