Spotify has released its highly anticipated Wrapped 2025 feature, offering users a personalized summary of their listening habits over the past year. After a lukewarm reception to the 2024 version, the company has introduced significant changes and additions. The new edition adopts a retro aesthetic with a predominantly black‑and‑white color scheme and occasional pops of color, marking a departure from the previous year’s focus on artificial intelligence.
Key new features include Listening Age, which calculates the “age” of a user’s listening habits based on musical preferences, and Top Albums, highlighting the albums each user streamed most frequently throughout the year. Wrapped Party is an interactive addition that lets users compare their listening habits with friends, family, or strangers; participants can earn awards and discover unique facts about their music consumption. The Fan Leaderboard shows how users rank among fans of their favorite artists, while the Listening Archive provides a detailed breakdown of a user’s history, noting memorable days and discoveries.
Spotify also introduces Clubs, grouping users into one of six teams based on listening habits, with each member assigned a specific role. Other enhancements allow users to guess their most‑played song, watch artists compete for the top spot, and receive shareable cards along with data on audiobook and podcast listening, if applicable. To access Wrapped 2025, users can open the Spotify app or visit the Wrapped hub; the feature is available now.
Spotify announced that Bad Bunny was the top artist of 2025, with his album “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” contributing significantly to his success. With a refreshed design and a range of new features, Wrapped 2025 promises a unique and engaging way for users to reflect on their listening habits over the past year.
