NNPP governorship candidate warns against money politics in Kaduna

Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, the governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in Kaduna State, has advised residents of the state to reject voting for any politician that will try to buy their conscience in the forthcoming governorship election.

Speaking to newsmen in Kaduna on Saturday on what he termed, “dire political miscarriage” ahead of the March 11 governorship poll in the state, Hunkuyi advised residents to be careful not to sell their consciences for another four years of leadership that cares less about their welfare.

He warned against issues that may include the pre-election matter pending in court that can declare the PDP non-entity in the poll as well as the post-election matters which the APC is ready to file against the PDP.

Hunkuyi alleged the use of money politics which according to him may be deployed by the ruling party in the forthcoming poll in the state to deceive the electorate into voting for the APC.

He said that “anti-people and anti-democratic norms are intended onslaught” against democracy in the state and the country in general.
