Tunisia has announced its 28‑man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be held in Morocco. Coach Sami Trabelsi has blended experienced players with returning talent as the team prepares for a demanding Group C campaign.

Veteran left‑back Ali Maaloul, 35, has been recalled to the national side after nearly two years away and will make his fifth AFCON appearance, providing a significant boost. The squad also welcomes back influential figures such as Ellyes Skhiri and Hannibal Mejbri. Midfield mainstays Ferjani Sassi and Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane are included, alongside attacking options Seifeddine Jaziri, Elias Saad and Sebastian Tounekti.

Tunisia’s AFCON journey begins on 23 December in Rabat, where they will face Uganda, followed by matches against Nigeria and Tanzania. This marks a record‑extending 17th consecutive appearance at Africa’s premier international tournament, and the team will aim to build momentum on the continental stage.

The Africa Cup of Nations is a highly anticipated showcase of the continent’s best football talent, and Tunisia will be looking to make a strong impression. Navigating Group C—home to strong contenders Nigeria and Tanzania—will require careful preparation and strategy. With a mix of experience and continuity, Coach Trabelsi’s selection is well‑positioned to make a significant impact.

As the tournament approaches, fans and supporters will be eagerly awaiting the action. Tunisia’s campaign, their 17th straight appearance, promises to be closely watched as the team strives to bring pride to the nation and leave its mark on the competition.
