Niger State budget proposal hits N1 trillion mark

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has presented a 2026 budget proposal totaling over N1.031 trillion to the state House of Assembly. This development was confirmed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Bologi Ibrahim, through an official statement.

According to the statement, the proposed budget allocates more than N270 billion for recurrent expenditure, while over N761 billion is earmarked for capital projects.
