APC Vice Chair Praises Wike’s FCT Development

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Vice Chairman for the South-South region, Victor Giadom, has commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for his developmental efforts in the capital city. Giadom made the remarks during Wike’s 58th birthday celebration at his Abuja residence, where he praised the minister’s achievements, stating that even his critics would acknowledge the positive changes in the city.

According to Giadom, Wike’s transformation of the FCT has earned him widespread recognition and admiration, not only from the people of Rivers State but also from residents and visitors in Abuja. He noted that the minister’s efforts have been noticeable, even to taxi drivers, who often express their appreciation for the improvements.

Giadom urged Wike to continue his good work, urging him not to be deterred by distractions. He emphasized that the minister’s dedication to his role has been impressive and that Nigerians would continue to acknowledge his contributions. The APC vice chairman also acknowledged Wike’s attempts to discourage a large gathering to celebrate his birthday, but stated that his friends and associates wanted to show their appreciation for his friendship and leadership.

The celebration, which could have been a large gathering if not for Wike’s attempts to keep it low-key, was attended by friends and associates who wanted to honor the minister on his special day. Giadom’s praise for Wike’s efforts reflects the minister’s commitment to developing the FCT, which has been noticeable in recent times. As the minister continues in his role, his focus on transforming the capital city is expected to remain a key aspect of his legacy. With the support of his colleagues and the appreciation of the public, Wike is likely to remain a prominent figure in Nigerian politics.
