Super Eagles land in Fes for AFCON 2025

The Nigerian national football team, known as the Super Eagles, arrived in Fez, Morocco, on Thursday night to continue preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Led by head coach Éric Chelle, the squad had spent the previous five days in a preparatory camp in Cairo, Egypt. While in Egypt, the Super Eagles played a pre‑AFCON friendly against the Pharaohs at the Cairo International Stadium, losing 2‑1.
