Nigerian actor Rotimi Salami has spoken out about the death of his close associate and mentor, actress Allwell Ademola, who passed away on 27 December 2025 from a heart attack. The sudden loss prompted many Nigerians to flood Salami’s social‑media comment sections with messages of concern for his well‑being.

In a recent Instagram post, Salami acknowledged the outpouring of support and admitted that he is still struggling to come to terms with the loss. He asked the public not to try to console him, as doing so might cause him to break down emotionally. While expressing gratitude to those who have reached out with love and concern, he confessed that he is currently too weak to respond to the numerous messages, calls, and posts.

Salami noted that the past 72 hours have been marked by endless tears, yet he is trying to find the strength to move on for the sake of his family, friends and fans. He added that his children will draw strength from him as they learn to cope with Ademola’s passing, and he promised to stand strong despite his current emotional state.
