In a statement, the APC’s Publicity Secretary, Darlington Nwauju, noted that the party has examined the issues leading to the impeachment process and is puzzled by the involvement of its own members. The APC has urged the Chief Judge of Rivers State to respect an interim injunction issued in Suit No OYHC/7/CS/2026, which stopped him from accepting or acting on the resolutions passed by the Rivers State House of Assembly. The party has also called on the national leadership to take immediate action and use internal processes to prevent the party from facing a difficult situation.
