The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State has welcomed a former four-term House of Representatives member, Kabiru Marafa, back into the party. Marafa, who represented Wurno/Rabah Federal Constituency from 2003 to 2019, was received by the APC Chairman in Sokoto State, Isah Sadiq-Achida, alongside hundreds of his supporters. The event also saw the attendance of two former Chairmen of Wurno Local Government Area.
Sadiq-Achida expressed confidence that the APC would secure 90 percent of votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election in Sokoto State. He attributed this optimism to the significant progress made by the administration of Governor Ahmed Aliyu over the past two years, which has transformed the state in various areas.
