JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Results for April 17-18 Candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released examination results for candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on April 17 and 18. In a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, the board’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, announced that 1,264,940 results from these two days are now available for candidates to access.

Dr. Benjamin advised candidates to check their results by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number registered for the examination. This follows the earlier release of 632,752 results for candidates who sat the exam on April 16, bringing the total number of results made available so far to 1,897,692.

The board reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a transparent, credible, and technology-driven examination process across Nigeria. The UTME, a standardized test for admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions, continues to serve as a critical gateway for millions of students each year.

Candidates are encouraged to follow the official procedure to access their results promptly. JAMB has emphasized the importance of using the registered phone number to ensure smooth access to individual results. Further updates and additional result releases are expected as the examination cycle progresses.
