Nanle Miracle Dariye, son of former Plateau State governor Joshua Dariye, has formally withdrawn from the contest for the Mangu/Bokkos Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives. The decision, announced in a statement posted on his social‑media accounts on Friday, was taken after what he described as “extensive consultations” with his family, senior members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Plateau State governor, Caleb Mutfwang.
Dariye, who entered the race under the APC banner, said the withdrawal was a “painful and difficult” choice made following “deep reflection” on the prevailing political realities.
