A transformative gift has landed at Holy Ghost College in Owerri, Imo State, as the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation (LSEF) unveiled a multi-million Naira artificial intelligence and technology centre during the school’s 77th anniversary. The facility, personally overseen by tech mogul and alumnus Leo Stan Ekeh from blueprint to completion, is not your average computer lab.

Inside, students will find a suite of high-performance all-in-one Zinox computers, backed by a 24-hour solar power system from iPower and lightning-fast Starlink corporate internet—fully paid up for the next five years. Ekeh, a product of the institution, said the project was born from a fierce desire to arm young Nigerians with the digital fluency and global perspective needed to dominate the 21st-century economy.

“My prayer is that this centre will produce Nigeria’s next wave of tech-driven billionaires—people who can create wealth, transform lives, and reshape the destinies of millions,” Ekeh declared.

But the vision doesn’t stop at hardware. Plans are already in motion to turn the centre into a certified training hub for global tech giants including Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, and Starlink. Beyond technical skills, Ekeh is introducing structured mentorship programmes that tackle ethics, leadership, finishing school culture, transparent communication, and fresh strategies for engaging today’s hyper-connected generation.
