The Nigeria Police Force has declared Yakubu Shehu, the member representing Bauchi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, a wanted person. The police have offered a N1 million reward for anyone who provides useful information leading to his arrest.

According to the police, the 45‑year‑old lawmaker is wanted for criminal conspiracy, causing grievous hurt, disturbing public peace and culpable homicide. This information appears in the Special Police Gazette Bulletin (Reference Number: CB: 2685/Bsx/VOL.T/4s) under the caption “wanted,” which was shared with journalists by Police Public Relations Officer Ahmed Wakil.

The bulletin lists the suspect as “Honourable Yakubu Abdullahi Shehu (Wakilin Birni), ‘m’ 45 years old,” with his last known address at Off Danjuma Goje Street, Makama New Extension, Jahun Ward, Bauchi Local Government, Bauchi State. He is declared wanted on CRO Form 5, issued by the Inspector‑General of Police, in connection with the offenses mentioned above.

Anyone with information that could assist in his arrest is urged to contact 0815 1849 417 or report the matter at the nearest police station.
