Born Amyr Yousufzai in Abuja, the 25-year-old arrives as a technology professional and former musician stepping into a new career chapter. Before joining the reality show, he built a career as a backend developer, web developer, and freelance teacher. His pivot to technology followed a stint in music, which he left for a corporate role in pursuit of financial stability, a decision he later described as his biggest regret.
During his official introduction, Aikou presented himself as a bibliophile with a deep interest in psychology and human behaviour. “I really think that I’ll be able to go as deep as possible into the psyche of other people and bring out things that would really be interesting for other people to discover,” he told viewers. The designation guarantees both participants a place in the house until the final week, where they will serve as special agents for Big Brother and the audience, participating in tasks and challenges. However, the privilege comes at a significant cost: the pair are ineligible to compete for the ₦160 million grand prize.
