Lagos election: Hamzat asks residents to shun inexperienced candidates

Lagos Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat on Wednesday, advised residents not to allow inexperienced candidates to take over governance.

Hamzat spoke at Igbobi college in Yaba at a session with University of Lagos Alumni Association and alumni of other tertiary institutions in the state.

Hamzat said the re-election of flagbearers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday would ensure a better state and country.

The former Commissioner of Works said successive governments of the APChad done a lot to improve the standard of living of residents.

Hamzat mentioned improvements in healthcare delivery, security, environment, road networks, among others.

“A vote for Sanwo-Olu in Saturday’s gubernatorial election is a vote for a greater Lagos. I assure you of greater development if reelected ,” NAN quoted.

The deputy governor appealed to all residents to be law abiding during and after the governorship and house of assembly polls.
