My daughter was preparing for her Masters in UK before train crash – Father of corps member

Femi Aina, the father of the National Youth Service Corps member, Oreoluwa, who died in the Lagos train accident, said that his daughter was preparing for her Master’s in the United Kingdom before the untimely death.

Oreoluwa’s father revealed that someone said that his daughter was struggling with life as if she wanted to say something before she died.

He described Oreoluwa as a good-loving and hardworking girl with the fear of God.

The grandmother of the deceased, while speaking on her death, revealed that Oreoluwa had stayed with her since she was four years old.

The aged woman described the day of the accident as a “day of grief” because Oreoluwa was the only one accompanying her and going errands for her.

She also corroborated Oreoluwa’s father’s claim that the young lady planned to travel to the United Kingdom for her Master’s programme, adding that she was already into catering and had been saving money to start a mobile food business.
