The Lagos‑based group “Lagos of Our Dream,” also known as Project LOUD, announced that it is providing free mobile Wi‑Fi across the state in support of Governor Babajide Sanwo‑Olu’s re‑election. The service is already operating in several areas, including Ikeja, Surulere, Eti Osa and Lagos Island.
In a statement, the group said the initiative is being carried out in collaboration with members of the All Progressives Congress, namely Adedeji Adebayo, Hammed Adeola and Idrees Yakub. It explained that the decision to launch state‑wide free mobile Wi‑Fi—particularly for young people—recognises and backs the governor’s landmark projects.
“We are proud to associate with the developmental initiatives of Mr Governor in all parts of the state,” the statement read. “Since assuming office, Sanwo‑Olu has applied his experience, expertise and outstanding academic and professional qualifications to governance in Lagos State. He has launched key programmes that are youth‑centric, supporting innovation, start‑ups and entrepreneurs through grants, soft loans and employment opportunities.”
The group added that young people are encouraged by the opportunities created by the Sanwo‑Olu administration. “In our small way, we are supporting the governor’s re‑election to continue his transformational and positively impactful projects across all sectors and sections of the state,” it said.
The statement urged young voters to turn out in large numbers on Saturday to vote for Sanwo‑Olu and all APC candidates in the House of Assembly elections. It argued that doing so will consolidate the achievements of the current administration and enable further initiatives that will deliver better outcomes for the youth and the state as a whole.
