Kano guber: My destiny is in Allah’s hands —  Gawuna

The Deputy Governor of Kano State and All Progressives Congress, APC, gubernatorial candidate, Nasiru Gawuna, has said that his destiny is in the hands of Allah.

Mr Gawuna, who made the remark immediately after casting his vote at his Gawuna polling unit on Saturday, expressed confidence that the elections would be peaceful.

“Power comes from God as i always said, and I’m not worried at all because I know God has already destined who is going to win this contest,” he said.

He also expressed satisfaction with the voter turnout, noting that as at 8 am, almost all the polling units in Kano were taken over by voters.

He commended INEC for adequate preparations and quick transportation of election materials to polling stations.
