Gov’ship elections show Atiku, Peter Obi helped Tinubu become president – Adeyanju

The President-Elect, Bola Tinubu has been told he owes presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, gratitude.

Deji Adeyanju, a socio-political activist, said Atiku and the Labour Party helped Tinubu emerge as president.

Adeyanju said the governorship election has shown that the Labour Party was an unnecessary distraction.

He wrote: “2023: From the gubernatorial elections across Nigeria, it is safe to say LP was an unnecessary distraction. They did more good to Tinubu than the country.

“Tinubu owes Obi, Atiku & other branches of PDP gratitude. I hope they will also not help APC again in 2027.

“Let me start rehearsing for May 29th and beyond because I have already accepted Tinubu as my president. How does it sound: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu?”
