Chimaroke Nnamani, the senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Enugu East senatorial district, has questioned why votes polled by him in the just concluded election remained same across all the wards.

Nnamani has been groaning since he was defeated by Labour Party candidate, Kelvin Chukwu.

The Senator said his vote tally reduced at the end and that it remained relatively the same at 300 levels across all the wards.

Nnamani, a former governor of Enugu State who disclosed this in a tweet on Tuesday, said his “Ebeano” political structure was far above the votes he scored.

He said he had no bad feeling about the outcome of the election as he would support Kelvin Chukwu of the Labour Party, LP, who won the election.

He wrote, “Why would my vote tally reduce at the end and remain relatively the same at 300 levels across all the wards. The ebeano structure is far above that. Getting 48k votes under these circumstances is a big deal. No hard feelings. I support Kelvin Chukwu.”
