The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abuja Zonal Command arraigned Aiosa Kelvin Orhue before Justice C.E. Nwecheonwu of the Federal High Court, Kuje, Abuja. Orhue faced three counts of fraud and a love‑scam charge, as disclosed by the commission on its official Facebook page on Tuesday.

Orhue pleaded guilty, and Justice Nwecheonwu sentenced him to one year of imprisonment, with an alternative fine of N1,000,000. The court also ordered the forfeiture of several assets: a three‑bedroom semi‑detached duplex in Edo State, a Lexus E350 saloon car, and N19,000,000 held in a Nigerian commercial bank. Additional items to be forfeited include all furniture in the aforementioned house, $1,858.67 and $1,000 held in two separate Nigerian bank accounts, an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and a Samsung A31.

The commission stated that all forfeited items are to be transferred to the Federal Government as restitution to the victim.
