Success signs new Udinese deal

Following an impressive 2022/23 season, Udinese has rewarded Super Eagles striker Isaac Success with a new one-year contract, Sports Extra reports.

Success joined the Italian club in 2021 and after a slow start, he has been a regular for Andrea Sottil’s side this season.

With just a year left on his initial contract, the Little Zebras, as they are fondly called, have decided to hand the Nigerian striker a one-year extension at the Italian Serie A club that will keep him at the club till 2025.

Albeit a poor run in front of goal, the 27-year-old, who has been mostly used on the right wing, has enjoyed a good season at Udinese this year.

The four-capped Eagles striker has been a regular for the team and has started 19 of Udinese’s Serie A games.

While the former Watford player is yet to open his goal account in the Serie A this season, he has registered six assists so far and he is also one of the most fouled players in the league, winning free kicks in the opposition’s areas.

Udinese on their Twitter handle announced that Success has been rewarded for his performances. The Nigerian attacker signed a new contract that will see him stay till 2025.
