Debutants Madiba FC started their campaign in the Nigeria National League (NNL) with an impressive 3-0 win against Ekiti United at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Tuesday.
Ewodage Abubakar, Solomon Aliu and Egbonwon Harrison were on target for the hosts in the game.
In another matchday one fixture, Ikorodu City defeated FC Ebedei 3-1.
Captain Oyedokun Tosin scored a brace, while Olubode Hassan netted the other goal for the home team.
Madiba FC, Ikorodu United FC, Ekiti United FC, Abeokuta Stormers FC, and FC Ebedei are all in Southern Conference Group B3.
More games will be played in the NNL across different centres on Wednesday a and Thursday.
