There is jubilation on the streets of Umuahia, Abia State capital, as supporters of the Labour Party and its candidate at Saturday’s governorship election, Alex Otti, celebrate the victory of the LP and Otti at the poll.
Otti was declared the winner of the poll by the Returning Officer, Prof. Nnenna Oti, having polled 175,466 votes to defeat his closest rival and the Peoples Democratic Party candidate who polled 88,526 votes.
