2023 AFCONQ: Super Eagles off to Bissau for Djurtus clash

The Super Eagles departed for Bissau on Sunday morning for the second leg of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.

23 players, technical crew members, journalists and supporters club members made the trip to the small West African nation.

The contingent is expected to arrive at the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport, Bissau later today.

Jose Peseiro’s side will have a feel of the venue of the game, Estadio 24 de Septembro later today.

The Super Eagles lost 1-0 to the Djurtus in the first fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Friday.

Monday’s encounter will start at 6pm Nigeria time.
