Guinea-Bissau fans were excited to catch a glimpse of Napoli star, Victor Osimhen during Super Eagles’ training at the September 24 Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The fans came out in large numbers to watch Osimhen and his teammates train ahead of Monday’s (today) 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying reverse fixture.
Some of the fans displayed banners begging Osimhen to give them his jersey.
The 24-year-old is unarguably the biggest and most popular player in the Super Eagles at the moment.
The forward has led Serie A club, Napoli’s charge for a first Scudetto in over three decades and first UEFA Champions League title.
Osimhen has scored 21 goals in 23 league appearances for Napoli this season.
The striker has further registered another four in five outings in the Champions League.
He will hope to lead the Super Eagles to victory against Guinea-Bissau, who defeated the Super Eagles 1-0 last Friday.
